The APM qualifications recognise an individual's baseline knowledge in Project Management and are designed for Project Management professionals in any industry. APM qualifications are appropriate for people working in the management of projects ranging from individual assignments through to large capital projects or company organisational changes.

The APM Qualifications are increasingly being mandated by major companies and organisations as a required qualification for those wishing to progress through their Project Management Career structures. The APMI and APMP courses are based entirely on the APM Body Of Knowledge (APMBoK), which defines those topics in which professional Project Managers should be knowledgeable and competent.
