Description & Objectives
Increasingly coaching is becoming an integral part of many management roles. Coaching brings significant benefits to the individual manager, their colleagues and the organisation itself.
For those managers ready to develop their role, this course offers an excellent opportunity to gain the essential skills needed for effective coaching. The course starts at the beginning by exploring what coaching is and what it is not. It then progressively introduces the key concepts and skills, reinforcing them at each stage with practical experience.
Structure
This one day event involves a mix of short training sessions, group discussion and practical exercises.
The course ends with a session to integrate the experience of the day and to anticipate and plan for coaching in the future.
Pre-Requisites
The course is suitable for people in a management role. While it welcomes a curiosity about coaching, it does not assume any prior coaching experience.
