Following a strategic partnership agreement with project management experts, Keith Richards Consulting, NES AIM Academy - the specialist training division of recruitment firm, NES - has announced the addition of a new course, DSDM Atern, to its existing portfolio.
Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM) was developed to address common problems faced by projects, including late delivery, cost overruns or the final deliverable not being completely fit for purpose.
It addresses such problems by creating an agile environment that is collaborative and flexible, yet remains focused on hitting deadlines and maintaining the appropriate level of quality. DSDM Atern is a true project framework that can be scaled up or down according to project requirements.
“It also complements the project management teachings of PRINCE2™, creating a powerful approach with strong governance and control that brings more delivery focus into PRINCE2™,” says Emma Nixon, training services manager at NES AIM Academy. “In turn, this gives PRINCE2™ that comfort factor for people wishing to adopt an agile approach but keen to do this in a structured way,” she continues.
“Through our partnership with Keith Richards Consulting, we can now offer fully accredited DSDM Awareness and DSDM Practitioner courses, which are available on a public schedule of events and also in-house,” Emma concludes.
