This workshop prepares delegates to sit the one-hour PRINCE2 Practitioner Re-Registration examination and includes the examination at the end of day two.

Pre-requisites

Delegates must already be accredited at PRINCE2 Practitioner level. The re-registration examination must be taken every five years, to keep registration valid.

Objectives
Attendance on this workshop will enable delegates to:

  • bring their PRINCE2 skills up to date;
  • revise the Principles, Themes, Processes and Techniques of PRINCE2;
  • sit the PRINCE2 Re-registration examination.

Format

The workshop will start at 9am and conclude by 5pm, with the examination scheduled for 3.30pm on the second day.

Slides will be used as a vehicle to revise elements of PRINCE2, giving delegates the opportunity to clarify their understanding and to identify any preferred topics for further study. The workshop will also introduce the major changes between 2005 and 2009 editions of the method.

Each element of PRINCE2 will be reviewed with respect to knowledge the delegate may need to demonstrate, and the areas of the manual that are most relevant. Delegates will need to have a current version of the PRINCE2 manual. This can be ordered when booking the course.

This workshop will be delivered using a mixture of trainer-led discussion and sample examination questions as a vehicle for confirming understanding and practical application of the elements of the PRINCE2 method. In the evening of the first day there will be homework - delegates are asked to answer sample Practitioner questions (approximately 1 hour).

Delegates may already own a copy of the PRINCE2 manual, although an up-to-date manual may be provided if required.

Pre-course Work

Delegates are required to complete some pre-course work.
