This workshop builds on the knowledge gained during the PRINCE2 Foundation Workshop. It examines the practical implementation of the PRINCE2 method and prepares delegates to sit the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination.
Project board members, project managers, team leaders, project stakeholders, project support and people working towards or within a PRINCE2 project environment will benefit from attending this workshop. The workshop offers discussion, examination advice and practice, and includes the Practitioner level examination.
Pre-requisites
All delegates must have successfully passed the PRINCE2 Foundation examination.
Objectives
Attendance on this workshop will enable delegates to:
- Appreciate the implementation of the principles of PRINCE2;
- Consider the practical application issues of using and tailoring aspects of the PRINCE2 method;
- Assess the implications and benefits of introducing PRINCE2;
- Have the confidence and competence to practice the method in a live project environment;
- Understand the requirements of the PRINCE2 Practitioner examination.
Format
The workshop will be delivered using a mixture of trainer-led discussion and sample examination questions as a vehicle for confirming understanding and practical application of the elements of the PRINCE2 method. In the evening of the first day there will be homework - delegates are asked to answer sample Practitioner questions (approximately 1 hour).
Delegates should already own a copy of the PRINCE2 manual, although a new manual may be provided if required. The PRINCE2 Practitioner examination will be held at the end of the workshop.
