Personality, aptitude and ability questionnaires

NES AIM Academy can offer fully trained and registered professionals to administer, interpret and feedback a number of personality, aptitude and ability questionnaires, which are becoming increasingly popular in terms of both recruitment and development of staff.

Personality questionnaires - are used to measure how people like to work and their behavioural style - they do not measure ability. A profile of the candidate can then be used to provide tools such as management reports, interview guides and team type reports. The most commonly used personality questionnaire is the Rapid Personality Questionnaire (RPQ). This assesses specific personality traits and can be completed in just 15 minutes. The Occupational Personality Inventory (OPI) is more in depth, measuring 25 personality factors that will provide insight into a wide range of managerial competencies.

Ability and aptitude tests - because individual abilities are not always adequately captured through a resume, curriculum vitae or application form, aptitude testing provides the best method for measuring such skills. These skills can include numerical or verbal skills, or the ability to remember details, names and faces. Aptitude tests are most effective when they are constructed to be relevant to specific positions. Assessment solutions offered via NES AIM Academy include verbal and numerical reasoning and rapid assessment questionnaires specifically designed for various industries and roles.

All assessments are offered either in-house or online.
