TERMS OF BUSINESS

Booking / Confirmation / Joining Instructions

To book a course contact NES AIM Academy who will be happy to assist you to complete the booking form. Your booking will be confirmed by e-mail or post.

20 working days before the workshop is due to start, and on receipt of payment or a signed purchase order your workshop timetables, joining instructions and directions will be sent to you.

Payment Terms

An invoice will be issued on receipt of Booking Form. Payment is due on receipt and should be received by NES AIM Academy 20 working days prior to the workshop commencement date. Payment is due immediately should the booking be made within 20 working days of the workshop commencement date.

Transfers

Transfers will only be accepted if made in writing.

Delegates may transfer to other courses, without penalty, as long as NES AIM Academy are given at least 20 working days notice.

Substitution of delegates may be made up to 20 working days prior to the workshop, without any charge.

Transfers requested with less than 20 working days notice may be subject to the full course fee being charged.

Any prepaid training must be taken within 12 months of booking, unless by other special written arrangement.

Please make cheques payable to NES AIM Academy.

If the customer fails to make any payment when due, NES AIM Academy reserves the right to levy a late payment charge calculated at the rate of 2% per month accruing daily from the date the invoice becomes due for payment.

Cancellation

Cancellations will only be accepted if made in writing.

For cancellations within 20 working days of the agreed commencement date, NES AIM Academy reserves the right to charge for the full course fee.

Absence from Workshops

NES AIM Academy reserves the right to not to allow re-admission to a workshop of any delegate who is absent from such workshop for whatever reason for a period of one half day or longer if in the opinion of the NES AIM Academy Course Director to allow such re-admission to the workshop would be prejudicial to the quality of the training given to other delegates and to the workshop overall. In such circumstances NES AIM Academy will make all reasonable efforts to provide additional tuition necessary to enable re-admission for which a supplementary fee may be payable.

Workshop Changes

NES AIM Academy reserves the right to improve the specification and format of its workshops for the benefit of its customers without notice to the customer.

The location and date of the workshop will be advised to the customer at the time of booking. NES AIM Academy reserves the right to change the location of the workshop and will advise the customer as soon as this change is known.

NES AIM Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any workshop and will advise the customers as soon as this change is known. NES AIM Academy will use all reasonable endeavours to avoid changes of this nature. When this is unavoidable NES AIM Academy will refund in full all monies paid by the customer, or at the customer’s option apply all monies to a rescheduled or alternative workshop.

Warranty and Liability

The customer accepts that it is their responsibility to verify that the resources and workshops are suitable for the requirements of the delegate attending a particular programme and that the delegate has the necessary level of competence, as set out in the programme description, to be able to achieve the objectives of the workshop.

NES AIM Academy liability for loss and damage shall be limited to a claim for damages. The maximum aggregate liability will be the charges for the workshop out of which the loss or damage has arisen. NES AIM Academy will not be liable for indirect, special or consequential loss (including loss of anticipated profit or data), howsoever arising, even if it has been advised of such potential loss.

Copyright

The copyright and all other intellectual property rights in all resource and workshop materials shall remain the sole and exclusive property of NES AIM Academy or, in the case of material developed by a partner organisation of NES AIM Academy, the partner organisation. The customer undertakes that it will not copy or permit the photocopying of workshop materials. nor disclose or permit the disclosure or sell or hire the same to third parties, nor use the same for running the customer’s own workshops.

Examinations

The fees and structure of any examination are under the control of the appropriate examination body for which The NES AIM Academy have no control. If the examination is not taken at the time of the appropriate course then this must be taken within a 6 month period otherwise a re-sit of the complete course may be necessary.

Refreshments

All scheduled courses include light refreshments and lunch. If students have a particular requirement, please let us know at least 10 working days in advance, so that arrangements can be made.
